I am a doctoral candidate at The Graduate Center, CUNY in the PhD Program in Anthropology and am interested in landscape genetics and conservation in primates.
Currently, I am working on my dissertation project, which looks at the effects of anthropogenic forest loss on the genetic connectivity in two mouse lemur species.
In the course of conducting my research, I collaborate with many colleagues in several areas. During the summer of 2012, I worked with Dr. Marina Cords on a behavioral project. I also work with Dr. Ryan Raaum on genetic aspects in the Laboratory of Human and Primate Evolutionary Genetics. Currently, I am collaborating with the Behavioral Ecology and Sociology/Anthtropology Unit at the German Primate Research Center (Deutsches Primatenzentrum) on my dissertation project.
